Swapping from pay as you go to contract

I have a pay as you go phone with £133 credit on,looking to swop to a contract phone. What happens to this if I go contract

They will transfer your credit over. (That's what  they did when I transferred from PAYG to contract)

Your number will transfer across automatically.
