I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 with a PAYG micro SIM. I want to transfer my SIM to a Galaxy S7, but the SIM is the wrong size. How do I organise a swap to the smaller SIM size, retaining the number?

Check if you can push the middle out of your current sim first.

Is it not possible to order one online or by phone and have it delivered? Having to go to a store with a queue of people (which I tried to do today) seems very 20th century!

Not possible to push out centre - old phone, old SIM!

Yes, you can call customer service to have one posted out to you.
Numbers here Guide: Coronavirus Community Help and Support
Or advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
If you call 4445, when it comes to the reason you are calling stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to someone.
Say "Upgrade", "Lost/Stolen" or "Fraud" if you have to, to get put through to someone.
