Standard tarriff rate change for existing customers?

Anonymous
Not applicable

Asking as I manage my Mum's phone for her.

She is/was on the 3p per min, 2p per text and 1p per Meg tariff but I notice these have now been revamped.

If she tops up again will she be moved onto the 35p per min rates or can she remain on the existing tariff?

Anyone previously on the 321 tariff can remain so unless they choose to change or upgrade etc.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Hi @Anonymous

If your Mum was on the Classic PAYG tariff before November 2019 she will be able to stay on that.

https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/classic-pay-as-you-go

  • Calls are 3p a minute.
  • Texts are 2p.
  • Data is 1p a MB.
  • Calls to customer service are free of charge
  • Calls to Voicemail are 3p a call.
