A PAYG SIM needs a top-up to be activated @Rosine - a voucher top up usually works well, but all the ways are in Guide How to Top Up (PAYG) - and your number is now on a public forum, I will flag it so a moderator can edit your number out of your post.

If the SIM is over a certain age, it may have expired, in which case you will not be able to activate it.
