Got a text asking me to update my details to avoid fees,i am a pay as you go customer.

As I've just said on your other post. Change it immediately.

If you use the same login details for any other sites you should change the password there too.

As well as reporting the scam text, block the number and any other numbers that arrive with a similar text:

Just got one of these scam texts but I'm not with o2 I'm with vodafone don't worry I've blocked the number

Could that be because that is an old o2 number transferred? @blissgirl
I read somewhere that they are just picking up o2 numbers which all start 075 (I think)
This seems to be a really big scam attack.
