Hi when I go into my phone settings SIM section the number displayed is different to my actual phone number how do I contact this

Some old Nokia phones had the ability to write to sim cards but no other modern phones that I know of.

It's an issue that is unique to O2 (they don't push numbers to sim cards like other networks) so not a priority for phone manufacturers.

If it matters to you (it doesn't always matter) you need to put your sim in an iPhone, go to settings >Phone >My Number and edit then save. This will write your number to the sim.

Many thanks & your right it doesn't really matter but it's something that's bugged me for 4or5 years.

Do you know of any other way than using an I phone?
