I've had trouble with my existing SIM not working abroad so O2 are going to send me a new one.
It's not arrived yet but O2 have already deactivated my old SIM!
When my new SIM arrives, will I be able to activate it? I seem to recall some texts have to be received to start the process but of course I can't receive any at present.

They will send your SIM to your registered home address, and you will most likely have to call O2 PAYG team from another phone to get the replacement SIM activated (you posted in PAYG), or take the new SIM and handset and some photo id into your nearest O2 Shop.
