Hello, I returned home to Ireland (ROI) on September 12th and returned back to GB on September 21st. During the whole duration of my visit, I was unable to make or receive calls or text messages. Mobile data worked sporadically. I also had £35 credit on my phone as well being sign up to £30 Rolling Plan, which I have been signed up to since August 17th. I rang O2 Customer Care numerous times from another number but there advice was unsuccessful. Can someone please tell me how to turn on the roaming on my phone. I received the Welcome to Ireland text from 02 detailing the roaming charges. Following the advice of the O2 customer service, I text TRAVELON to 21300 on my return as it would not work while in Ireland but that is only to have mobile data turned on. As I travel over and back to Ireland quite frequently, I am afraid of having the same experience. Also the O2 text message states all roaming calls and texts are included in my tariff. Any advice to rectify this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Some things to try:
Check data roaming is on in phone settings.
Manually search for another network
Reboot the phone
Turn off 5g in network settings
If you have an iPhone change your data APN to "mobile.o2.co.uk"
If still not working then contact O2 to remove the Roaming bar on your account.
If you message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter ( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
