Hi,

I'm in Italy, and I am not able to make calls or use internet. I have a PAYG plan, 10GB £10 bundle.

I am currently connected to TIM and I have signal, however it's like I don't.

I looked at past conversation in the forum, but nothing worked for me. I changed the provider manually, but none works apart from TIM, and the APN is set to mobile.o2.co.uk (I have android).

I am not able to contact the customer service because I am unable to make phone calls.

What else can I do?

Thanks,

Andrea

Hi,

I solved my problem by taking out the sim from the phone, rubbing it with my thumb and putting it back.. Crazy!

Some things to try.
1 - Manually search for a different network.
2 - Reboot your phone
3 - Call customer service to check for any roaming bars.
If you message O2 on Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help you with this.
Thanks.

Hi, I tried to do everything you said but it still doesn't work.

Unfortunately I can't call the customer support because I can't make any calls.

I have sent a message to o2 on Facebook about 4 hours ago, hopefully they will answer soon.

I think I can't do much else, but wait.

Thanks,

Andrea

Just FYI MI5: You can't even call customer service. There's simply no phone usage or data. Just nothing other than wifi when this issue presents in Italy....

@JulieElaGrace

You can use a VoIP service over wi-fi.
