Hello everyone, I've been meaning to ask this question for ages. Each time I get a voicemail message on my handset, I'm required to set a new pin before listening to the message. I always set the pin to the same number, one that I can easily remember. I receive VMS infrequently, probably less than once a month, so is this inconvenience for security reasons? I ask this as I did look through community voicemail threads first - to save bothering you! - and it seemed that might be likely.
Any advice much appreciated,
Matt

It is a system default that serves as a security measure and resets the pin to the default 8705 if not used regularly
Damn nuisance and affects me too.

Thank you jonsie, appreciate your reply. Yes it is a pain - at least now I understand why this happens.
Best wishes,
Matt
