I'm trying to switch from O2 to Three, today my service just stopped without warning, and the new SIM that I put in won't work with my phone. It's an unlocked phone from Tesco Mobile so I don't understand what could've happened.

You need to contact Tesco Mobile and Three, if you are porting out to 3, as they will be able to advise...

Depending on when you bought the phone it could still be locked so you would need to ask Tesco to unlock it for you.
