I'm strongly thinking of changing provider to virgin as there packages are better and massively cheaper, my problem is I'm payg, too up every month and have over £50 credit on my phone can I get this money back.

That's bad when it's my money but at the end of the day virgin would save me more money in the long run so thank you.

Just stop topping up and use your credit before you switch.

You'll need your PAC to keep your number when you do so.

One way round it is to take out a 30 day contract

Your credit will be transferred to your contract

Cancel after a week under the change of mind policy

O2 will then refund the credit into the same account used to register for the contract

@Tilly Very good advice from @jonsie.

Apart from getting a better deal, make sure you will be getting as good or better coverage than you're getting now. It isn't worth a single penny you might be saving if you don't get a good signal in the places you frequent most.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2
