Morning, I’ve just topped up my daughters phone with £10 for pay-as-you-go on O2’s standard tariffs but the phone automatically used the £10 for a bundle.

How do I change this asap to just a balance of £10 so it can be used for pay-as-you-go.

I spoke to numerous O2 operators last month who assured me that if we let her original bundle expire then we could continue to top up her account with pay as you go.

My daughter is only 10yrs old & needs her phone for emergencies only.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Many thanks

Deb

o2 no longer do the normal pay as you go @Deb77 so that won't be possible.

You need to look at Asda, 1p mobile or Giff Gaff (who are also stopping this soon) as an alternative.
