Pay as you go

Hello,

I purchased the £10 Pay as you go sim card over the weekend. I put it on my phone and the data is working fine. However, I am not able to make any phone calls. I get a message from O2 saying I need to top up. My current balance is 0 even though I paid £10 when getting the sim card.

My question is: the £10 I paid for the sim card did not include payment for the month? Do I have to top up before being able to make phone calls?

Many thanks.

You credit is exchanged for allowances https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/big-bundles

What's included in allowances is here Guide: Your Allowances - what is and isn't included

Anything outside of the included allowances requires extra credit.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
