I have recently purchased a Alcatel u3 phone all is fine except it keeps charging me for data use even though I have turned off location services and mobile data

any ideas

@Andy6 what tariff are you on and how much are you being charged?
Are you sure it's for data?
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

@Andy6 @It could be the web daily which takes a £1 off your credit every day if mobile data is switched on but if yours is set to off then call 4445 payg customer service & they may be able to help find the cause

Hey @Andy6, there are some good pointers above, did any of them help you understand the charges better? If not, could you let us know a bit more about your contract and settings, as queried by other members? We'd love to help further if you're still having trouble with those charges!
