Hi

Ive been on monthly as far as I can remember, say 6 yrs. Now paying about 6.50 a month.

Last month and as a general r ule I use

1 min          199 0ut of 200mins   - Im part hearing so at present dont phone

75   mb       185 out of 250mb  data

27   text       973 out of 1000    text

I'm wondering if I would do better to use payg , so Im not wasting several pounds a month on unused items?

Are there any downfalls ?

I might be trying

Chatable in the future - app for part deaf people . It might be used anywhere 2 - 6 times a month for 10 - 60 mins a time

Or NGTS for calls ffor which the incoming call is typed   . I might be able to phone family this way. Not often

At present I dont know how each of these is ''powered/charged''     calls?  data? wifi?

No you won't be better off with O2 PAYG.

The minimum bundle with data is £10 a month.

You would benefit from switching to a giffgaff or Tesco PAYG though as they allow you to just top up and use credit to pay for calls, texts and data so would be cheaper for you.

Hi thanks for this . Thats sad M15.  I shall miss everyone on 02 very much  and the loss of some monthly rewards.

cry

I'll pass this info on to hubby too.  Hes thinking of getting a smartphone. At present he has 40.00 on his 02 payg and only tops up when needed. The change will  make him think twice about 02.

You don't have to leave the O2 forum. Both Tesco and giffgaff run on the O2 network.
