Solved: Pay as you go sim

Hello!, this isn’t about my personal account. But I’m hoping you someone can help me.

I want to get my son a phone with an o2 pay as you go sim.

But, I don’t want him to have any credit to use.. I want to be able to use ‘find my’ to track his location.

If there’s no credit on the sim, will mobile data be active so I can use find my or will it be inactive? As obviously if the device is offline then the find my won’t work.

Not possible as PAYG SIMs require you to keep them topped up to work and all come with calls and data these days.

Can't think of any network that would do what you want

This is not O2 and we are all customers here similar to yourself and cannot answer account type queries.
