apologizes if this is stated someone, I couldn't find it, but if I were to need to buy a new iphone, is it as simple as moving my sim to the new iphone and turning it on? (assuming the sim fits) Or is there something more complicated that needs to be done?
My current phone's charging port is getting flakey and I'm debating new phone or attempting to repair the charge port. Just wanting to know changing phones won't be difficult.

@Worm3rd If you are already with O2 then you need to keep your number by doing a sim swap Guide: Sim Swap: a mini guide 2017 update also you need to make sure O2 have applied the iData Bolt on to your account. If you are moving from Contract to Pay as you Go, you will need a new sim as they are different.
You didn't give me a great deal of info to work with so I have tried to cover every eventuality.
Actually it's quite easy so don't worry.
Best of luck and welcome to the forum xx

MI5 said a simple "yes" and I'm sorry if I'm not clear.
I'm already an o2 customer with a working phone and working sim.
I was simply asking if I buy a new phone, because say my current phone is just old and breaking, is it as simple as buy a new phone, take the sim out of my existing phone, put it in the new one and off I go?
