Hi

I tried to unlock my phone before leaving O2, the chat people told me I had to topup (£10 min)as was 20p short

They said once I leave the Balance would be sent to my Bank account

I then find the device is unlocked already, so I have £24.80 on account, but now when i ask for my PAC code they say no way of getting balance back.

What can be done here as I have be conned

Hi @Anonymous, how are you doing today?

Having checked the info just now with the pre pay team, they have confirmed that if you no longer wish to stay with O2 and you have remaining credit, they can refund you in the form of a cheque. You would need to call the pre pay team to request this. Hope it helps and please do let us know how you get on?

@Anonymous Once you use your pac code your o2 credit will be gone so I’d suggest using it up before you use the pac code as it is valid for 30 days once you receive it

It's been an option for a while, although only learned of it myself as well today! Due to the nature that customers can top up with a voucher from a shop etc, with no bank details, a cheque would be issued.
