Am I able to receive text messages and calls if I have no remaing credit on my "Pay As You Go" mobile? (In the United Kingdom)

Thanks for the reply, is that for an unlimited amount of time, or after a certain point do you stop receiving calls, I want to purchase a "Pay As You Go" mobile to have a number which I can use for registering to sites that I don't want to bother me.

If you don't top up or make a call or text every 6 months, the sim will deactivate.
