Paid bill but no service

Paid my bill albeit a couple of days late, now phone will not reconnect and I cannot even get through to anyone. The message I get is that I don't have any outstanding payments but I need to make a payment to get my services back, utter nonsense.

It can take a couple of days for o2's systems to catch up after a late payment @ELRAISER 

If you need everything turned on sooner, you need to speak to the Payment Management team.

They are available on 0800 902 0217

The opening times are:
Monday to Friday – 8am to 8pm
Saturday – 8am to 6pm
Sunday – 9am to 6pm

To avoid this happening in future it would be worth setting up a direct debit - which the payment management team can also assist with.
