Pac / new sim / £10 / pulling hair out

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi

no classic payg sim came from weekend, so online chat said can pick up in store, wanted to catch the pac cut off for this week.

store insisted on £10 top up and said I would have to ring customer services for £10 transfer

denied there was an online transfer number form

have completed the online number transfer form, but unclear if first two boxes are old and old number or the temporary number (off of sim) for the second box so maybe won’t go through

i put the sim number in but what happens to my £10?

why the difficulty? # if wasn’t such a good tariff I think I would have gone elsewhere for the hassle

lol @adamtemp64

EE number now ported to o2

BIG BUT

EE sim still alive and kicking and if I ring 150 I still have an EE balance and the balance text appears on the o2 handset sim! (With o2 number in the device)

sure I’m jinxed with these things

I’d give it 24hours and a couple of reboots to see if it settles down.
Hopefully you don’t have a split port.
