I wanted a PAYG sim as I don't use my phone much. I wanted to pay for the calls and text I use. I was given a SIM that expires after a month. That isn't what I wanted. But I don't see classic PAYG being an option now. Is PAYG not an option for O2?

Hi @SteveM

You need Classic PAYG which does exactly what you want it to do. No longer available from O2.

However, you can get the sim you want from Tesco or Giffgaff. Both use the O2 network and are Classic PAYG.

Hope that helps and welcome to the forum.

The reason why most networks no longer offer this is because they either do sim only or contracts. Deals are so cheap nowadays that almost never worth paying per call or text.
