Hi
I wonder if someone can assist in a query I have,
A family friend is hoping to go to the above two countries in the near future and still wants to be able to use their PAYG phone.
If they do what type of charges are they likely to incur for text charges back to the UK? Are their any other alternatives other than a local Sim, they are only away for a week
Thanks
Butch

50p to send a text from both countries @Butch
If they were able to use Messenger over Wifi it would be free of charge.
Obviously the person they were messaging would need to have the app installed on phone or PC...
(Just a suggestion)

Thanks for coming back to me on this also
Yes, told them to use wifi wherever possible as messenger/whatsapp a lot easier and cheaper for them
