Hi, I'm trying to get my PAC code. First I tried via 65075 but I get a text message back saying there's a problem with the system and asking me to try again later. I tried multiple times and this error message comes back consistently...

 

I thought I would speak to an O2 colleague over the phone and ask my PAC code that way instead. However, I was told I would get a call back, which never happened...

 

I've never had so much trouble getting PAC codes from other mobile providers. Can you help please?

@jsa You have to call 4445, if you're Pay & Go. See this guide: PAC code (o2.co.uk)

Hi @Bambino thanks for your reply. I did try 4445 and was put on hold for a while, then the colleague over the phone told me they would call me back. But they never did 😞

@jsa You can try O2 via social media who may be able to help you:
Facebook (https://o2uk.co/O2CFB), Twitter (https://o2uk.co/O2CTW), or Instagram (https://o2uk.co/O2CIG)
If they can't you'll just have to keep trying to call.

We're all customers here, so there isn't much else we can advise.

Thanks @Bambino. I have tried Twitter too. I sent a private message early this afternoon which hasn't been replied to. I then sent a public tweet which has been ignored by O2 ever since. I can see that the Twitter O2 account is active, in the "Tweets & Replies" tab they were replying to other people just a few minutes ago. But my tweet from a few hours ago is left unanswered...

 

How complicated does this have to be? I've been with multiple mobile providers over the years, and always got a PAC code within seconds with a single text message. Therefore I'm really surprised (and not impressed) by O2 making it ridiculously painful.

 

I appreciate your time and your help, O2 are lucky to have customers like you @Bambino 👍

 

I was hoping an O2 representative could help me via DM as I see PAC code requests have been fulfilled that way in older topics...
