I am on PAYG, I've had the SIM/number for years. I only get free calls/texts to other O2 numbers. Can I change to a newer bundle and retain my number?

Yes you can keep your number and just change to a newer payg tariff

Many thanks. My wife used to just have an O2 phone so it was never a problem but now she has a work Vodaphone as well and doesn't always have her O2 phone with her. Texting/phoning the Vodaphone number can get a bit nippy!
I'll pay a visit to my nearest O2 shop.

You do not need a new sim you can do it in myo2 or by sending a text message
text codes required can be found here

Looking at the text codes, can anyone enlighten me as to what the difference is between 15BUNDLE and 15DATABB?
