Hi,
looking for some support. I am currently living abroard and have a £10 rolling plan. I don’t want to lose my number while I am abroad and so I am trying to use my phone to send a text but my sim doesn’t seem to be working.
I am unable to get only my o2 account as it wants to send a text to my number (which is the problem - I can’t seem to use my phone)
please help, I don’t want to lose the number I’ve had for 18 years.

When did it last topup, and when did you last make a chargeable call, a text message doesn't count..
You might need to contact o2 Guide: How to find help & contact O2 and it might be best to use the social media options..

You need to contact O2. Use Skype or social media
Message O2 on Facebook ( https://o2uk.co/O2CFB) , Twitter (X)( https://o2uk.co/O2CTW) or Instagram ( https://o2uk.co/O2CIG) , they should be able to help.

You may have the same problem i have/had.....and incorrect security setting
I need to check next week, when back in Spain to confirm its been resolved.
Rolling Plan - In EU, cant phone UK landline
Contacting the social media accounts is a good way to proceed.

I might be wrong on this @madasaf1sh, but if you are spending your £10.00 per month with O2 on your Rolling Plan, do you need to make a chargeable call ?
The T&Cs suggest that it is a top-up or chargeable call, and I would have though that O2 would be quite happy to take your £10.00 per month even if you are not using the service.
