Number porting

Hello everyone,

I recently made the choice to switch from Vodafone to O2's new Rolling Plans. I requested to get my number ported to O2 on Friday after 5pm and on the website it says that my number should be ported over within 2 working days. Its Tuesday and I didn't get any messages regarding my porting or anything. Does anyone know what I should do?

I also have a porting issue. Requested Sunday. The first form submission failed. The second sent successfully. Zero texts received regarding porting. Contacted live chat yesterday who said I should have received the texts, but it was scheduled for yesterday at 6pm so all should be ok. It is the next day at 9am and still it hasn't been ported (also still no texts). Little help? @O2Emma  & @O2Lisa ?

Hi @Cleoriff .. with all the tags I’ve had this morning for port issues I’ve looked in to this and there is actually a known issue. 
The problem is being investigated but we currently have no timescales, if you could spread the word it would be much appreciated 😊

My working hours are Monday - Thursday 08:00 - 18:00

Do you know if it is from/to certain providers, or just an issue at large?

If it’s any help, we’re being ported from Asda and are having problems.

@gmarkj we believe it’s only certain networks at the minute but there are quite a few.

I have been without service since yesterday afternoon. Vodafone switched off my number and as yet O2 have not connected it onto my device. Very disappointed with my first impressions of O2. 
No proposer explanation  given by customer services and a vague in the next 24 hrs is the best they can muster.

i can’t work properly, cannot receive notifications from bank etc, it is not good enough.
