I bought a new o2 sim in tesco. And it stated 6gb now 18gb for just £10 pounds and terms and conditions that applied to me where, if you are a new customer the big value bundle will automatically apply as soon as the sim is activated. I activated my sim only to find that I had 6 gig of data and the 18gig was not applied. Is that just the way o2 operates. To get people hooked with a price point then once you've made a purchase get crewed over. Someone help me understand

Get 3x data for up to 3 months on our selected Big Bundles, then reverts to standard data allowance. Offer will be applied automatically for first-time customers. Existing customers with an eligible Big Bundle must text “3XDATA” to 2424 from their O2 phone.

 

I'd send the text and see what happens, although it might be applied as a bolt on Guide: Where is my discount or Extra Data?

Hey. Thank you for your response. I tried to send that text but had no credit as it was converted to data. But I gave up to be honest with you. They sold me dreams. That whole automatic thing didn't work
