I’m trying to use my free credit for my new sim however the number provided won’t allow me to top up the credit

You may need a voucher for the first top up.

I would try buying a voucher from your local shop, as sometimes the first top needs to be done via voucher...

- Xperia 1V - o2 and Spusu
- Pixel 8 Pro - o2 and Vodafone UK
