Hi there, I was wondering if anyone else experienced this:

After upgrading sim card from old (large) o2 sim card to new nano-with-adapter, the new sim card works fine on both android and older, windows phones, but... if inserted into old symbian phones Nokia (C7 and N86), it makes these phones go into continuous loop of swithing on and off. The old (large) o2 sim card worked perfectly fine on these phones.

This does not happen with a virgin nano-with-adapter card, which works just fine on these Nokias.

Thank you

@a2a78 Yes, I've had similar issues when using adapters in these older phones with the spring loaded flap type of sim retention.

I think the problem could be down to alignment so try and see if you can position the sim slightly differently.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

After struggling with adapters I ordered a completely new sim card from o2, used it in original (largest) size and after a sim swap the old nokia phones work again!
