I understand that Classic PAYG terms and condtitions have changed, requiring me to topup or add a bolt on every six months.
Is there any way for me to find out when I last topped up?
I would prefer to be able to plan ahead to use up my credit before moving to another network.
If I get close to the 6 month period, will I get warning that my account will be deleted and the number that I have had for many, many years will be lost?
Thanks for any helpful replies.
Lee Sanders.

You need to call O2 on 4445. Point them to this thread if you wish.

Advice from an O2 Guru regarding a way to get through:
When you call, you will be asked for the reason you are calling,
Stay silent for 15 seconds and you will be taken to the keypad options.
Press 2 for Everything Else
Press 5 for More Options
Press 7 for Anything Else which will put you though to an advisor.
Press Upgrade, Lost/Stolen or Fraud if you have to.

I have tried ringing 4445 and it just says call failed. Is there a 'chat' service or an email address I can use to get my phone reinstated?

I finally got around to calling about this - got bumped around theree different people but the last one was able to reactivate the sim... or at least it will be within 24 hours, she said.
However she also said that adding a bolt-on, or sending an SMS (2 things I had done within 6 months) were not enough to count against the 6 month disconnection thing - it had to be an actual phone call. No idea why adding a bolt-on doesn't count when the Community Manager in this thread said that it did - that seems a bit weird as you're giving them money! And why a chargeable SMS doesn't count either - who knows!
