Hi, hope you can help me.
Ive been with O2 for aroung 20 years...and had my number for probably 15 years..
I retired last year from work, and have not really used the phone number and carried it just incase of emergency.
It had £4.00 credit.
I now find that I cannot use this number.
Why has it been disconnected and why if there is still credit....?
Much appreciate any help.
Gary.

A chargeable call or text needs to be made at least once every 6 months.
Assuming your number hasn't been recycled already, you need to call O2 http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and ask for them to reactivate your sim.
Your credit will take a further 24 hours to be replaced.
If you can't call from a landline, you can use Skype to call 0344 8090222
