Moving abroad but want to keep uk number

I’m moving away so I will not be using my o2 number but I still want to keep my number for when I come back,

Best thing to do is move to the classic PAYG tariff and make a call or send text at least once every 6 months to keep it active..

How to switch here https://www.o2.co.uk/help/pay-as-you-go/classic-pay-as-you-go 

 

If you're an existing Pay As You Go customer, you can switch to Classic Pay As You Go in one of the following ways:

  • text CLASSIC free to 21300
  • call 2202 free from your mobile
  • visit My O2.

You’ll be switched over on your next renewal date.
