I have an emergency phone and I’ve lost it. 02 won’t issue me a new sim with that number as I can’t give them the sim serial number, how can I when I’ve lost it ? Any ideas ?

I guess it's a PAYG sim?
If so, you should be able to provide details of previous top ups or numbers called so they can confirm the sim is yours.
