SMS text messages seem to be a little slow in being delivered at the other end this morning.
I sent my sister a text a good 25mins ago and it sent ok but has still not arrived at her end. Ended up having to message her via facebook messenger.
I did 3 or 4 test text by texting myself and text tane a good 6 or 7 mins for them all come back though to my iPhone.
I have turned my phone off and back on.
The last few years I have been typing *0# before my text so I know text is being delivered.
Have looked up o2 service status and it says sorry a phone mast close to you is not working as well as it should. Our engineers have found an issue and they are looking in to it but o2 service status page for my area has said that since just before lockdown started in March.
Any help or info would be welcome.
Edit: My sister got my text 35mins after i fist sent it.
