If you haven't used the simcard for over a year and not made any outgoing calls or texts then it will have been terminated.
You can try ringing 4445 and seeing if customer services can reactivate it for you but i wouldn't hold much hope of them being able to do this.
It may be easier to order a new sim card from the o2 shop.
