I cannot get a text sent to my phone because It is not working

How is it not working? Can you make and receive calls? Or send texts, or is the phone dead completely? What type of phone is it?

You may need a new sim, although unless you give us a bit more information we will struggle to help you

You can put your SIM card ok no another phone to receive the text.
