Hi, I'm new to O2. I've got a sim card and topped up with £10.
I am abroad, when I try to dial 4445 or +444445 I get the local service provider recorded message stating something like "you call cannot be completed as dialled".
What am I doing wrong? I really need to speak to "Customer Services" to understand more about the Pay As You Go , and whether I can get a better deal.
Please help!

Calling 4445 from abroad is not possible.
Calling +44 7860 980 202 (free) is possible and is just the same as if you were calling 4445 in the UK, so I don't understand what you mean by not wanting to make a call?

MI5L Thank you so much for your quick reply. But I couldn't find "the numbers" on that page! Could you please guide me as to where the numbers are mentioned.
I have several questions as I am acomplete NOVICE. But I'd like to sort out calling 4445 first.

MI5: Thank you. It says "From your O2 mobile : 4445". When I call 4445 I get the option displayed on my mobile saying this +444445. Whe I click CALL, I get the local service provide message "you call cannot be completed as dialled".
I wonder if being abroad, I need to add something else, like the * or # .. or something?

I remember reading on O2 website that in some countries you need to add some characters to the number, something like * and #, but I cannot remember exactly what to and how to add them.

You need to use the "from abroad" number as in the post above.

But I don't want to make a phone call. I really need to phone 4445 (not +44 7860 980 202).
I think I founf the cause of the problem. It is probably "a network problem". The device scans for available networks and finds only the local one - NOT O2 network. Whe I dial 4445, the local provider then responds with the message "your call cannot be completed as dialled".
I will try to look for a solution assuming that it is a O2 network problem.
In the meantime, I will ask the questions I have in a new post.
Many thanks MI5 for your input.
