How long will I keep my number for with o2 without topping up

Hi everyone, I have a pay as you go with o2. I haven’t put credit on it since November. Does anyone know how long I can keep this number for without putting credit on it?? Thanks for your help

If you are on Classic PAYG you need to make a chargeable call or text once every 6 months (to show it's still active) and top up every 999 days.

Thanks for the info. Best option would be to top up every 6months and make a call or text at the same time.
Simple for me to remember that.
