Evening.

Nothing urgent, just need a little help please.

Bought a Huawei Mobile E5573B from O2 last week. Not contract, pay and go

Bought a £40/12gb simcard and all seems okay, suprised myself by setting it up with my laptop and tablet.

Only problems are, 1), can't connect to some Internet sites or pages, and would like advise, in as simple terms as possible, on how to change the settings, and 2), the device says I have a email message but I have no idea how to find or open it.

As I say, not urgent, but would like help.

TIA,

Paul.

Hi @Paul56 some sites are blocked by default due to age verification restrictions https://www.o2.co.uk/help/safety-and-security/age-restricted-content-and-age-verification
and to see your messages you need to login to your router homepage http://mbb.o2.co.uk/Refresh/NewUserSignin or by typing the address of your router into your address bar - usually 192.168.1.1
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)
