Help with pay as you go deactivated number

Hi I have a pay as you go number which has been deactivated as I haven’t used it for a while and I have rang pay as you go team 4 to 5 times and they keep on saying to me number will be activated within 24 Hours and today it’s been three weeks my number still hasn’t been activated and this number hasn’t been assigned to anyone and customer advisor told me that they can reinstate the number as they have option showing on their side for a reactivation but seems to me they don’t know what they are doing

Hi @Waqs916_ When was the last time you topped up/used the pre pay number as this has to be done every 6 months to keep the number active.

Hi @O2Emma @I can’t remember when was the sim topped up last time and sim was off for some time bcoz I wasn’t using it because it’s linked with my iCloud and Samsung account when I tried to access the number it showed no signal so upon contacting o2 pay as you go team and after giving them details which they needed I was told that the sim will be activated within 24 Hours and I have spoken to them 4 to 5 times but each time I ring them they give me 24Hour time and customer advisor also told me that they have the option showing in the system that number can be reinstated

Hi @Waqs916_ These are the terms if has been more than 6 months since you last used it.

If you do not carry out any chargeable activity at least once in any 6 month period your Mobile Phone will be disconnected and you will lose any remaining credits balance on your Account. If you wish to be re-connected after this time you will be given a new Mobile Phone number.
