Hi,

Currently I am out of the country and will be out for quite some time and topped up my phone and wanted to make a call back to the UK so that the sim card won't expire. I topped it up with £10 and tried to make a call however, I got a text saying that I have now got a £10 bundle (which I used to use in the UK) and now I can't seem to make a call back to the UK. I am now afraid that eventually my number will expire and want to prevent this from happening. Can someone help me out with this?

Thanks,

Ahmed

@Ahmed
The PAYG number From abroad is +44 7860 980 202 but it is charged at international rates.
I'd suggest you use live chat http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and ask them to convert your tariff to the classic 321 tariff and reinstate your £10 top up as credit.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Thank you for the fast reply! I was wondering, will I be charged by calling the number?

@Ahmed You can call O2 customer service for free from any phone on +44800 032 1402.

Edit: FYI: I don't know how long you're planning to be out of the country, but you only have to make a chargeable call or send a text once every six months to keep your number active.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Try clearing you cache and cookies, log out and back in again or try a different browser.
The MyO2 app also has a link to live chat.
