Handset subsidy question

When a pay monthly contract finishes after two years and the handset subsidy is paid off will the monthly bill amounts reduce?

The above info applies if you are on a refresh contract or you have 2 bills, 1 for airtime and 1 for device plan. 

If not, your payments will stay the same but you can keep your phone and upgrade to a SIM only tariff which will then reduce your bill.
