GPRS Timeout

I've had problems using a SIM on the EE network and GPRS. Will no data flowing the network seems to close the connection about every 10min. The battery operated tracker I'm using the SIM in then restores the connection and sends some data and, more importantly, burns more power.

Anyone know what the timeout (disconnect of session with no data) will be on using GPRS on the o2 network - ideally it will be a lot longer than 10min?

Might be something @Martin-O2 can check on for you @Wobbly ?

Looking at my logs it seems to be 15 min, but I'm not sure yet. Wish it were 10's of hrs 😞

http://www.o2.co.uk/assets2/PRODImages/PDF/GPRS-howitworksMar07.pdf is an old document but in 3.4 it suggests it should be 3hrs, but maybe what I'm seeing is a UDP timeout happening after 15 mins as described in section 5 here http://www.o2.co.uk/assets/O2HybridNav/Static-files/PDFs/GPRS3GConnectivityMar07.pdf ?
