Hi, Got a new O2 sim for my daughters new phone. Topped up £10 credit & then texted FREE10 to 21500 before the date shown. However, I get a message back from O2 stating that "It looks like this offer isn't for you". The card the sim came with (and the online advert on the O2 website states it does apply).

Looks like the FREE10 offer may have long expired, @SeanI

Details here to cross-check before you call O2 on the numbers in the second link below:

@pgn

If you read down that link it does state (in a very badly worded way)

NOTICE: These Terms were been updated and amended on 17 October 2019 to make them easier to understand and to account for changes to our Big Bundle tariffs, pursuant to Clause 17 of these Terms.

So it may still be relevant?

I think if the sim is sold with the offer on the packaging within the expiry date of the sim then O2 will honour it.

Yes, I think you are right, @Cleoriff and @jonsie  - reading the link for the free sim:

Thanks for replies.

PAYG Sims still being sold on O2 website advertising this offer, so still valid.

Have tried phoning customer services whose message advises to use My O2, but no answer to problem on My O2.

Will call CS back.
