Enable WiFi calling

I want to enable WiFi calling on my Samsung Galaxy S9 as the O2 indoor signal is very poor. The phone was originally supplied by 3, but was unlocked and I have been an O2 payg customer for ages. The O2 app asks me to unlock the phone, but it is unlocked. Can you help.

WifiCalling is not supported on O2 PAYG, sadly - only on a contract phone, @elsid

Just a suggestion for you to consider. O2 do a sim only contract. You can have one for 30 days on a rolling contract. (very similar to PAYG) . Once you are on a contract, you will be eligible for Wifi Calling.

Thanks Cleoriff. The least expensive option is £15 a month but thats what I spend on average for six months. I don't make many calls.

@elsidI see. Without knowing your current tariff, it was just a suggestion. Not worth it, if you have to overspend. 😉
