Hi, I joined O2 and activated my SIM before the 22nd June, so according to the deal I should have double data 14GB instead of 7GB. I received a text message saying I got the deal, but when I log in to MyO2 app it still says I only have 7GB. I called the customer service and they advised it can take 24 hours until the deal is applied to my account. It's been almost a week now and the data allowance in the app still says 7GB

You may find that the extra data starts when your 7G finishes Guide: Where is my discount or Extra Data?

You’ll find that the extra data is added but if you look on the my o2 app periodically, your remaining data allowance remains static until you’ve used your extra allowance. The extra data DOES NOT show but is on your account and you are using it. Only when you’ve used the extra will your normal allowance as shown in the app begin to decrease. If your normal allowance is decreasing as you use data then it’s time to call customer services.

Confusing possibly but that’s the way it works.

Best of luck.
