Hi,
I just bought a £10 PAYG SIM and its now in my smartphone and i am using it.
Todays date is 7th May 2025.
On myo2 it says .....
QUOTE>>you need enough balance on 07 June 2025 to cover the cost of your tariff next month.<<UNQUOTE
So what if i dont put money in before 7th June?..does that mean this SIM card will then stop working forever?
Supposing my balance goes to zero on may 30th 2025...then i dont try to top the balance up again with another £10 until say 20th August 2025...is that possible? (ie to leave the next top up to 20th August 2025)

Sounds like you are on the Big Bundle Tariff so if you don't top up you will get out of bundle charges
Out of Bundle charges
Once you have used your allowances or if you do not renew your bundle each month, you'll pay our Big Bundles standard rates:
Calls cost 55p a minute
Texts cost 30p each (excluding picture or premium messages)
100MB of data costs £2 a day

Big Bundle balance of £10 would be consumed today, your available balance will be zero until you top up again on or before 07-June. If topped with £10 up by then, balance will drop to zero after 07-June, allowances will work until 07-Jul.
If you do not top up, your card will remain active, incoming calls and texts will work, but outgoing calls and data will draw down any balance below £10, then just not work until you top-up.
If you top up £10 or more on 21-Jun, your next top-up needs to be on 21-Jul or before to maintain continuity of service to you.
You can switch to a £5 tariff Big Bundle, but you would find it very restrictive with no rollover data. If you do not top up before Kate August, your phone will stay that way.

As your only purpose for this is to unlock your phone, the answer is no.
You can request your unlock after a few days of use and then just bin the sim card once the unlock process has completed.
