Thought I already posted this but when I logged in again it said I hadn't made any posts. So here we go.

I have recently joined O2 on Pay as You Go to try out the service. mI could not see how to talk to a person so hope someone on here can help.

I topped up my new SiM with £10 and received a confirmation text. I then made one call to my home 'phone and sent one text to my wife, both local. I then receive a text telling me my balance is £5.

Can anyone explain where my credit may have gone.

Thanks

If your data is on your phone will be using it when in use.

Turn off your data when not using it.

It would seem you are on a £5 big bundle where the money is taken for your calls and texts

Every call or text will then show you still have £5 credit until next month when the money will then be taken when your allowances renew @Theshed

The Big Bundle explaination does make sense.

So does that mean I will be £5 in credit for next month or will I need to top-up to £10 ?

Credit will be used for next months bundle if it is the £5 bundle @Theshed

You will then need to top up again with another £10 for subsequent months.

Similar situation. Had 7 pounds credit, topped up with a tenner and now only the topup is showing. What's happened to my 7 quid, guys?
